A year ago, the Milwaukee Bucks were a dead franchise.
They’re a year or two, and a player, away from becoming a powerhouse in the East – maybe the NBA.
But right now, they’re a sixth seed, looking to upset one of the favorites to go to the NBA Finals, the Chicago Bulls (Game 1: 6 p.m. Saturday on ESPN).
No big deal, but this is probably our best podcast yet (click here).
Every angle of the Wisconsin Badgers travesty against Duke in the NCAA championship is hit by Rick Solem (AM 580 WKTY), Cory Jennerjohn (AllGBP.com and former Wisconsin State Journal columnist) and Tim Ryerson (former collegiate coach, CEO of StudentAthleteWorld.com).
Derrick Rose looks like the scariest name the Milwaukee Bucks will have to face heading into the first round of the playoffs.
But the return of the injury-plagued point guard may be a blessing in disguise for sixth-seeded Milwaukee, which plays No. 3 Chicago in Game 1 at 6 p.m. Saturday.
