UW-L, Viterbo, UW all play tonight
Volleyball has taken the state by storm this season.
While the Wisconsin Badgers are ranked No. 3 in the nation, both the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Viterbo University are rolling.
The 15th-ranked Eagles won a Division III NCAA tournament game for the first time since 2008 on Tuesday – taking down St. Thomas 3-1.
Thursday, the V-Hawks, ranked third in the NAIA, won their 35th consecutive game and are now in the NSAA tournament semifinals.
At 7:45 p.m. today, Viterbo (37-2) hosts Valley Christian State – a team they beat 3-0 earlier this season.
Up in St. Paul, at 7 p.m. tonight, the Eagles (23-5) play hosting Northwestern University (31-4), which is ranked 18th in Division III.
UW-L beat Northwestern 3-1 back in September.
Wisconsin (20-3) has six games remaining in the regular season beginning with Illinois at 7 p.m. tonight.
